The Dolmen Theatre is taking a break!
So far, we've had a great year with some wonderful productions. We were honoured to have the legendary Tom Hickey perform The Gallant John-Joe and spellbound by Seamus O'Rourkes brilliant Padraig Pott's Guide to Walking. As well as all of the touring productions we welcomed to our stage, we also had had two premiers. Worth by Ger Gallagher and Boom? by Isobel Mahon, both of which received fantastic reviews and are now making plans to tour.
We will re-open in September with an exciting line-up of plays. In order to give new writing a platform, we are introducing a new programme of play readings to be held once a month on Saturday afternoons.
The Dolmen Theatre receives no funding. We rely on you, the audience, to keep the venue going and we would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to all of you for your continued loyalty and support.
